Aylin Kucuk, PhD is a Program Manager of Nuclear Fuels at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI).
Dr. Kucuk joined EPRI in 2005 and has been managing collaborative research projects within FRP (Fuel Reliability Program) and NFIR (Nuclear Fuel Industry Research) Programs on fuel cladding corrosion and hydriding, fuel/chemistry interactions, control blade and control rod issues. She now oversees both FRP and NFIR Programs.
Prior to joining EPRI, Dr. Kucuk worked at the Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering department at the Pennsylvania State University as a post-doctoral researcher. She received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Nuclear Engineering from the Hacettepe University in Turkey. She also earned her PhD degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.
